Getting PR back from a penalized website/blog

My blog was recently penalized by google (most probably due to payperpost ads which I disclosed and where therefore calculated). From a PR5 rank, it plummeted down to PR0 and I was wondering if deleting these previously sponsored posts would regain my PR back to the next PR update. Because if it won't, then there would be no other reason to maintain my blog anymore. Does anyone know if I can still recover lost PR or if my blog can still earn PR even if it's penalized to PR0? It doesn't show n/a which probably means that my blog isn't banned yet.

You should probably file a reinclusion request, stating that your blog is in compliance with the Google Webmaster Guidelines.
Tell them that you messed up with the payperpost ads, and you removed these ads..

And they might remove the penalty..
