Hi I decided to create my own article directory to see what happens with it. I want to see how monetization goes with it once it gets busy. I am looking for some advice 1. Does anyone have an article directory that is busy and making money? How did you manage to get traffic to your site? 2. Whats the best way to get PR for it? I know from the things I do myself that PR sites get more people writing articles on them 3. I would like to provide a site where people can get quality back links from so what can I do to make things good for the writers and IM people?
You will need to differentiate yourself from the millions of other directories on the internet, try and find a niche and market to them.
