So someone approached me and offered me $250/month to redirect one of my forum threads to their website since it gets good traffic. I run an obesity site and the thread is specific to a specific diet pill that is heavily marketed on the internet. This thread's URL happens to also hold the #2 spot in google at the moment for the name of this diet pill. In the last month this link had 2061 page views and 1306 organic referrals from Google. So for the price this guy is willing to pay me monthly I'll get 12 cents per page view, or about 19 cents per organic google referral. Thoughts? Is this even legal?
It's perfectly legal and totally your choice as the forum owner. If you can't average 12c PPV by filling the page with Google AdSense, $250 a month for zero effort is not a bad return. Maybe try posting the offer in the DP Link Sales section and see if you can get more for it?
