getting pages indexed faster

i was thinking about link juice, and started to wonder if i would be able to get my new pages indexed faster. let's say that i wanted to get a page indexed quickly, but the page is pretty deep in my site. would i be able to get the spiders to crawl that page faster by linking directly to it from my homepage?

 

To answer your question, yes you would, as the bots visit your homepage more regularly.

 

If you get link to it from page that gets spidered more often it will get listed sooner.

 

ok, so let's say that i had a featured section that displayed a new product every week or something. i could probably use that section to rotate all of my newly made pages to get them indexed faster right? is this a viable and "legal" technique?

I was wondering about this a few months ago. I found out that by creating an RSS feed, and putting your new pages into the feed, and then submitting them on the web, you can see your pages indexed within 3 days.

Either get them digged and stumbled a bit....or, if possible post an ad on craislist. My above page (see article in link) was in google and ranked in under 24hrs.

 

Get more ways for the bots to see that page, and your pages will be indexed. That includes deep links, regular content etc.
