Getting of 150 Links from 0 PR

Well i am getting 150 PR 0 links from various P3 directories and many from here... however want to know that will google treat this as Spamming and will ignore or what will happenn because i dont think so this will going to improove my status.

No don't worry, If you only had 150 PR6 and PR7 that would be worse, and more likely to get someone to look at your site. Their is a PR update coming soon so don't stress it out some of those links should get some PR soon.

this will bring search engine spiders to your site but i think it will not effect your page rank and it will not be ban reason

 

hmm!!! so what do u suggest me.. to work more hard for the links or .. wait for sometime... to get the things up....

 

Sites with 0pr CAN pass on pr.

 

Work hard from links from other sites then just directories. Not that these will hurt too much, but in most niches you will also need some links from sites with PR and google trust.

 

google start to not count directory as good links, so i think this will not help you much, but it's ok to do that.

What effect do you hope to have from this? Won't do SERP any good
1. It depends on the PR of the individal page you are on
2. >any of these links probally won't get spidered.
3. Many are probally on the same C class
4. Many are probally outside the IP range for your consumer base (abroad)

1 good link surgical link is better that all these.
Will help yahoo for a while though.
You need to have a link strategy rather than pay $100 bucks to a directory submission company.

 

You are right and thats what i was thinking and i think getting the links from 150 directories are going to be good however it need to something better .. waiting for working better..

 

Same as ur question, I want to grab the $25 submission to 200 blogs and I found out that there's a lot of PR0 blogs in there, will these so much PR0 help my site?

It was mentioned in this thread that the SEs will start to discount or are starting to discount IBLs from directories.

Does anyone else feel or have any proof that IBL value is discounted when they come from directories?

 

I don´t think IBLs from directories are being discounted. As for any other type of site it´ll depend on the quality of the site. Links coming from popular and authority directories will be valuable. Anyway, I´d get as many links from directories as possible. As far as I know, if you don´t link back and inbound link won´t ever harm.

 

All inbound links are good as long as your not linking to bad site. So even the directories has PR sorry it also helps you with your link building and eventually the directories will soon to have PR.

 

Thanks for the response. My understanding has been that a "spray and pray" (develop as many IBLs as possible and pray) wouldn't hurt your site if you have time to do it. Sure directory submissions make me want to put my face in a blender after the first few but I have to think it is only doing me good in helping with my SE results.

 

Well same here even i think that IBLs must be from good directories and most important thing is this it should have PR.. as that will make sense and will help in improving the things. Lets hope for the best as i am gonna update this thread after the google update.. So lets c .. i think that google update is round the corner..

 

Make sure you don't get all links within few hours ...
Its always good to build links gradually and regularly to stay on top of competition.

 

Your better off spending your time trying to get a few high PR links

 

some of the links will be PR something high ones in a few month, but stay away from the shitty looking directories. Don´t have too high of a percentage of links from them.
