I thought i have figured it out, but everytime I do new pages and they get indexed, they are always supplemental. My content is unique and I usually do 15 articles with links to the page. I have no clue to get around this and at times the competition is non existent, so I should rank easily, what am I doing wrong?
Give it a bit of time. How strong are the links which point to your inner pages? What have you done with regard to titles and descriptions for your new pages?
well the only links are from article submissions, so that would pr0. However I get a couple as I submit quite a few of articles. I just hate being in the supplemental. My titiles and descriptions are also SEO'ed properly
Article submissions arn't a solid source of backlinks by themselves these days. You will need something more substancial, especially on newer sites. Google's getting tough on new sites and sites with a low volume or low quality backlinks.. Thanks MFA sites for this.
Most directories dont allow internal/deep links to be submitted. Get a few comments on the pages by some of the active members to your site. (see my sig ) That should add more content to the pages. Also, submit the new articles pages to social bookmark sites. It will help get you some more links, not only from article sites. Deep pages do well on social bookmark sites.
check if you have duplicate pages... e.g. http://page.com and https://page.com ... i'm not really sure about it but try to figure it our too...
