I have a new Wordpress blog on a domain that I used to refer through to another site with a Wordpress blog I have. I referred my new Wordpress blog to my old Wordpress blog via a forward on Namcheap.com. Now I'm having trouble getting the new homepage of my new Wordpress blog indexed in Google.

When I check the cache of my new Wordpress blog, it still shows the homepage of the domain I used to refer it to. Any idea how this comes? Other subpages and posts are indexed as it should be.

There are many techniques of getting your blog indexed quickly. I found that creating backlinks from multiple sources which are updated regularly can help you get your site noticed by search engines. You can use news sites or squidoo or other sites which are updating very fast.

Well my hoempage is already indexed... but it's still showing the homepage of the site I used to forward too. Its cache has updated several times ever since, but it's still the old site that appears on the homepage. New pages created on the new Wordpress blog are easily being indexed thanks to the backlinks that I have.
