Getting my site back up and running...

Hello everyone. I'm looking forward to spending some time here and learning from all your experiences.

I am a amateur (at-best) website designer, and have recently relaunched a site I own from a failed online poker casino room. My intentions are to provide a video poker oriented site (I have a free video poker game on the main page) NOT related to online real-money casinos and basically just add whatever content I think others may enjoy.

Edit** The links at the bottom I would change the color of them. Hard to see. That blue on black don't work so well.

If you ever want to add a poker game you can go to any one of my arcades and copy the code over. I have poker/casino games.

Also you have to scroll to the right a bit and i'm at a high res too. Might want to keep it so it won't scroll on a 1024x768. i have my set higher and you have to scroll right.

Thank you for the suggestions... I changed the color to a light green, should be much more visible, but not painful to look at. I've changed the home page to be percentage of screen based instead of fixed size, so you should not have to scroll across anymore. Now I just gotta check the other pages...

So, after getting some feedback about the site, I've undergone an extensive remodel, and am in the process of adding a bunch more content. The rewrite is done, and content will be added as quickly as possible. This site has been really helpful, much appreciated, and keep the feedback coming!

So, upon the advice of a couple people in this thread, and even via personal messages, I have almost reached a finish point in my website! I never thought I'd get so many comments. Thank you all so much for the feedback and direction!



I've added forums, a newsletter, link directory and submission service with XML, and RSS content. The main website sections are even w3c compliant (I didn't even know what that meant a month ago, lol). I never thought it would look this nice when I started.

I'm going to post it for site review as soon as my permissions here are updated... In the mean time, if anyone has any more suggestions, please let me have 'em! I love the feedback!
