As they say Google only enters blog sites onto its "blog search". My question is that how G knows that a site is a blog? Perhaps I should ask this question another way: How can I get my blog included onto G blog search?
I have experimented a little with this. My newer blogs (less than 6 months old) seem to take a lot longer to get in to this particular partition of the index. My older, more autoritative blogs (12 months or more) seem to appear in the blog search within a few hours. My recommendation to get in to blog search would be to i.) get some trust in the way of authoritative links for your blog and ii.) update it frequently (at least every other day).
Thanks for the reply but I still don't understand how Google crawler distinguishes between a blog and a normal site.
Please review the FAQ: http://www.google.com/support/faqs/bin/static.py?page=faq_blog_search.html&hl=en Sites are included that have rss feeds attached to them. They list those that send out pings to a number of servers. Questions 4 and 6 on that page. Hope this helps, -drmike
You need to add your blog manually and wait. Sometime they take long time to approve. If you add ur blog to Technorati then the process gets faster.
The goal of Blog Search is to include every blog that publishes a site feed (either RSS or Atom). It is not restricted to Blogger blogs, or blogs from any other service. i think Now i have addressed to your question. ??
