Anyone have some good tips for converting all the guests and visitors i get into members? Thats about the only part of making forums that seem to be failing for me right now so any tips is appreciated.
Well there are lots of strategy and based on my personal experience, not showing online stat would make them register.. People who saw forums without members don't register..
Forums take come to kick off. To get visitors convert to members you gonna have to have good content. Now that also depends of the traffic quality; if they are looking for the content you are offering. There are many other ways to kick start a forum. I have a 3 month old forum, so far I got good success. Based on my experience I would also suggest adding as much useful content as you can.
