Getting Massive Traffic From Google Image Search?

A PHPBB forum I operate has had some very good search traffic over the years, but recently started getting an inordinate number of referrers from Google's Images pages.

Is this something that just creeps in as a site climbs up in the rankings...or??
    Is this traffic beneficial?
The Adsense revenue has gone up recently- not sure if this is relative.

    Thoughts?

If someone posted a picture that was top for a busy keyword than changes are people typing that keyword in are seeing that page on your site with the picture.

Of course some people do this on purpose for more traffic but google does not like this.

    Thanks.
As fate would have it, I just ran into 7 pages of drivel here on how you too can manipulate it for profit.

I get quite a bit of traffic from google images

What you should do is install a frame buster, which makes the user go directly to your site without the image frame at the top

Any links that help to achieve frame busting?

(I'm aware of the blackhat method from the other thread now, BTW- not something I have any desire to employ)

Google Image search brings me virtually no traffic, unfortunately.

Why is it a bad idea to use frame busters?
I'd like to hear all considerations, certainly.

I do notice that it does nothing for Netscape.com type frames on the left....
    Hmmm.

I get a pretty fair amount from G image search... not as much as I think I deserve, of course. I've been debating about putting the framebuster tag on my pages but so far have held off. Kind of a 'let the free market decide' kind of thing, I guess.
