Put up a web page with words and pictures. SEO it so you rank on the front page for her "name wedding" - i.e. Wendy Wedding - tell her on her wedding night that's what you got her. See how "lucky" you get after that! ;-)

P.S. Seriousely, do this anyway and then she can tell all her friends to read about it by Googleing "name wedding"

Buy her a cute puppy. Most pet stores these days will let you adopt one for $100. Get a cute little labrador puppy and tie a red bow around it's neck.

Most chicks dig cute puppies :)

Lol - none of you would ever imagine how great an idea the puppy thing would be...

However, we live in a small apartment, with no chance of moving up, so that wouldn't work for now... That would be the *perfect* gift for her though. She is the biggest dog lover you would ever know!

    hey dude congratulations!!! :D

    here's a suggestion coming from a girl... :)

you don't need to spend money just to give her a special gift. for me, it is much more romantic to spend one night with my loved one. make her feel special by not giving any material things. just let her feel that she's you're only one and your love for her is true...

    it sounds cheezy... LOL...

These are both good suggestions below. It's not about money, it's about the emotional connection. Don't stress, just make it from your heart and she will love it.

Take a bunch of pictures you have of your happiest times together, cut them and arrange into a collage, write a poem and tell her what you felt the day you met her, or when you realised you loved her.

The cd idea is also good. What songs speak to you about your love? Make a nice cover for the cd with your pics on it and a dedication. This is something she will treasure forever.

    congrats man and good luck.
you could probably give her a bracelet both of your initials engraved on it.
or I suggest give her a nice breakfast, cook for her give her flowers and treat her what she deserves.

Going back to the puppy idea - what about a small sized dog? My parents have dashounds and they're tiny.

There are a few popular puppy breeds that are extremely popular these days, but it might be hard to find them:

Teacup Poodle - when fully grown it literally fits inside a jacket pocket. They're one of the smallest breeds of dogs. Very cute, but very hard to find a breeder.

Miniature Pincher - take a Dobberman Pincher and shrink it down to the size of a breadbox. Very popular with women these days, and they're fairly common in pet stores.

There's a couple of other "mini" puppy breeds, but those two are extremely popular. Neither of them requires much space and just needs to be walked and loved :)

I agree with discreet why not give her what she wants the most. Its not always what they need, sometimes what they want really counts...

Buy a chiwawa rather than Labrador or any big dogs. One reason is "small dogs shit lesser than large dogs... :D

    Congratulation :)

Wow - I forgot about this thread...

We've now been happily married for a little short of three months.

I got her a bracelet. It had a very thin white-gold chain, with tiny diamonds laid into the links. Looks really simple, classy, and she loves it!

And Colleen, no divorce in sight - our relationship is stronger than ever!

Thanks for all the ideas, everyone.

P.S. the honeymoon was in old quebec city, at the Relais Charles Alexander. Definately recommended for anyone loking for a romantic getaway. Go in early May though, avoid the crowds...
