    Strange...

I keep on getting lower and lower revenues per click for adsense even if it seems like a very popular keyword. (i.e. PSP)

on some of the clicks, I don't even get paid.

Anybody else experience similar problem? I don't run Adwords btw.

yes, the video games niche is absolutely horrible in adsense.

try alternatives. YPN, CPM ads, affiliate programs, in-house advertising, promoting your own products.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am having a bad day. I don't know if what I am seeing here is the result of "smartpricing" or not but it is about 1/5 the average revenue.

Me too. I'm so used to this seesaw behavior of Adsense that I barely check my earnings anymore. Thank goodness for other affiliate programs. :(

Strange, I would have thought the video game biz would be great for Adsense sites. Maybe try Gamespot affiliate ads thru Commission Junction. But with the two new systems out, now's the time to jump on things, I should think.

Sites that generate a lot of returning traffic like videos and games usually have poor cpc.

That is one of the reason I love to build low traffic sites. Because they tend to have high CTR and you get smartpriced less often.

What is the website in question? Perhaps your keyword profile for the site has changed dynamically over time, producing lower CPC keywords

I dunno, my revenue per click seems to be increasing. But my sites are only 2 months old.

You can set up blocks on specific URL's that show up on your pages.
Some URL's that you may want to block are:

    ebay.com
    amazon.com

And any MFA sites that seem to be doing arbritridge (that are showing up on your pages).

To do this login to adsense, click on Adsense Setup, then on the Competitive Ad Filter Tab.

    Sometimes this helps.
