Getting lots of @mail.ru WordPress registrations

    17 of my current 38 users are from @mail.ru addresses, and I've previously deleted at least 10 or 20 others.

    Why? I've not seen any posting spam or even valid comments, or are they lying in wait just in case a vulnerablility in WordPress is discovered?
