    Hey all,

I am listed on Google with my sites (www.c00t.net & www.nearly-free-hosting.com) but neither are on Yahoo, or MSN. Will this progress occur naturally?

    When the sites were launched?
Try getting good incoming links to your site(s).

Get as many link partners as you can. Getting into yahoo is good and you can get there by getting backlinks to your site. Check out link-exchangers.com

check out linkmetro.com or linkmaket.net or linkpartners.com for exchanging links fast and easy.
these sites have a huge data base to work with.
keep the links at a steady pace as well.
    cheers

Such databases can only help in increasing ranking by 1 or 2 spots, I don't think they are that useful...

Just concentrate on getting backlinks from sites which are already indexed and regularly crawled by the SEs.

It's been observed that nearly the first engine to index new websites is MSN and even one link from a visible and frequently refreshed page is enough. It can be a link from directory listing, a message board, etc.

If google has already listed your site it won't take long for the others to follow suit. I would try and get some more backlinks to speed up the process, and add a link to your site in your signature.

I really dont like Yahoo. I never get ranked anywhere good for any of my sites :(
Yahoo is usually last to list me.

I have had about 30 web sites up for about 2 months now. I have about 40-100 pages indexed by Google on each site. Yahoo is JUST NOW indexing a few pages. I have several backlinks on 2-3 of the sites. I guess Yahoo is just a bit slower at indexing pages. Just my 2cents.

I read once that someone got indexed by putting their site url in their yahoo bookmarks.

I think he said he got indexed within a couple days.

I have yet to try this though.

MSN likes spammy content. Spam them. j/k.

IBL's are the key to success. These IBL's should be with highly targeted anchor text in relevant sites.

I am banned from Yahoo all together but have good SERP's on Google and on MSN for the same pages.
