Getting Listed on Google

I started with Adsense on May 1st and put two new web sites up and have made a little progress from 12-cents a day to an average of $7.00 per day. I can get listed on Yahoo after 4-5 days but I am finding it hard to get listed on Google. Has anyone got any magic tips they would like to share on getting indexed on Google.

I think my web sites can pay, all I need is the traffic.

Get links with sites already in Google, preferably above PR 4. Wait about 3-6 months.

Google's spiders follow links. If they follow a link today that leads to your website you could be in Google's index in no time. ;)

Getting Indexed and getting traffic from google search results are two different things. As another poster pointed out, google has a sandbox where links to a new site may not be counted for at least 3 months. If you are talking about getting traffic to your site from google search results, just keep building links and wait for the "sandbox" period to pass.

Why doesn't Google index any of my pages?

If your pages haven't been indexed yet, it's probably because there aren't enough other pages on the web that link to them. Google looks at the link interconnectedness among pages, relying on the vastness and openness of the Internet to yield the most relevant search results. If other pages don't link to yours, we can't assign your pages a PageRank (our proprietary measure of a page's importance) in a reasonable way. Once other pages point to them, we'll pick your pages up.

Go to a submission for free site and submit your site to smaller search engines, after they pick up your site, the larger search engines will also.

    It happens pretty quickly.

I'm not sure...lately Google has been in a bad mood with new sites. I subscribe to the sandbox theory as well. AdSense and SEO go hand in hand so your on the right track.
