I respected him a lot though didnt knew much about him. I just heard tat he is well known SEO guy. But this deal is a total shit. Ya i can give him one or say two featured links in return for those links. But asking 100 is like mad man. LOL he needs mental hospital
He sells 100+ Links on his homepage and calls his site a "company" website Who can help me avoid all the pitfalls? >Yourself What am I doing wrong on my site? >Selling 100+ Links When will my site get more links? >When all DP directory owners offer you 100+ free featured links Where do I find a link package for more traffic? >Spamming all directory owners via emails. Why are other sites ranking higher than mine? >Because what you pay is what you get. < Questions from his own website
I got exactly the same email as well its verging on spam Theres no way i'd give away 100 free links; although im potentially prepared to compromise on pricing for bulk orders...
Had that offer too a couple of months ago. But declined it. And same here willing to compromise on bulk order for the other directories of mine.
I got the same... just didnt know everyone got the special invite I spoke with "bob" on messenger and told him i would consider when i think about its really not beneficial to me as id rather pay a few bucks monthly to be on a list that sends me traffic... When i consider the PR6 links offered then with about 100 others i just cant see getting any benefit from the PR6 links so.... But im always open to re-negotiations As ive been saying Biz-Giant will open its doors soon (just want to get it perfect ) and offer many different SEO packages and im considering adding a side list off "Friends" but will be selective off whom is listed and will have minimum requirements for inclusion... Ill tell ya guys more when i get their thx malcolm
All have different personal opinions. My opinions about Seocompany and Bob Mutch is very positive indeed. Its one of the oldest SEO sites on the net--along with Bryan's http://www.searchenginecolossus.com I tried for a home-page advertising --( I am also interested on Dan's infovilesilencer and directorycritic) --but later backed out thinking that my site was not yet ready for such a prestigious site. My personal opinion is Bob's approach was not correct --though there is always going to be some sort of collaborations between directory owners and SEOs. If Bob says --he would give me a permanent homepage banner-space --I might give it a serious consideration. Simple Math says --it would cost me $6500. At current rates--Bob's ads cost $190x12= $2080/year. So I could recover it in 3 years. While my site will be there for as long as Bob and seocompany exists. In the meantime-- I would get real-targetted traffic and get the referrals and revenue that one can expect. The tragedy is Bob- does not approah the right guys (kidding)
I agree bob does know alot about the game and he is very respected as an SEO Pro... I agree that banners do sound better to me as well Will see what he thinks and go from thier i reckon ... thx malcolm
I think the offer is a fair offer. Here is what we are offering: 1. Permenant link on 4 pages: A permenant link on the following 4 pages that says up as long as you don't get a ban from Google. http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/web-directory-submission-service.html http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/web-directories.html http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/web-directory.html http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/deep-link-directories.html 2. Added to directory packages we sell: Added to our directory packages we are selling. When the 100 traded reviews are used we will purchase reviews in packages of 10 at 50% off. (SEO Company did $415,000CDN in 2006 and about 50% of that was directory submissions.) http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/web-directory-submission-service.html [Note: Above paragraph was edited as it was not clear on about the purchasing of packages of 10 reviews at a time.] 3. An additional page in the future: We will also be adding in the near feature a page that is simular to our ILQ sales page. http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/top-web-directories.html Just like on the above ILQ page on the new page a webmaster can search via Yahoo to see what directories they are not showing a link for in Yahoo backlinks and then purchase submissions for those directories. So that is another page that your site will be added to. 4. Site specs where your link will be placed: --Traffic Rank 3 mon average: 7529 http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=seocompany.ca/&url=seocompany.ca/ --Inbound links showing in Yahoo: 64735 https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/advsearch?bwmf=s&bwm=i&p=http://seocompany.ca --Pagerank: PR7 --Authoritive site: http://www.google.com/search?q=seocompany --Directory Related first page rankings: http://www.google.com/search?q=free+directories http://www.google.com/search?q=free+directory http://www.google.com/search?q=web+directories http://www.google.com/search?q=free+web+directories http://www.google.com/search?q=paid+web+directories http://www.google.com/search?q=multi+link+directories 5. Additional value: --Many webmaster scrape my pages for directories to submit to. --Many SEO consultants scrape my pages for directories to submit to. Here is what we are asking for: 1. 100 reviews in exchange. 2. Specs of submitted sites: --Reviews will be from quality site. --Titles will not be keyword stuffed. --Descriptions will not be promotional and will be quality written. Here is what it cost you: 1. Checking 100 submissions. Not much work there, our subs are quality. 2. Some Pagerank bleed if you still think that matters. 3. The lost opportunity to sell a review to the 100 clients I submit. My clients typically don't do submissions theirselves.
It's up to you. A few months ago, he told me that he would list my Linkspub there if I changed by business model to permanent & multi links. I kindly declined and said, I'm real sorry, but we can't do that. Anyways, directoryjunction.com is almost ready, and I can assure you, that it will give alot of good exposure to directories.
Lol--maan I thought i was the only one Bob is a good SEO--but certainly not a good judge of directory owners
Anyone got a second round of this "offer" from Bob Mutch?? I got two mails from them on my account that is listed in "whois" ... (Not using "contact us" form this time...) With "Contact Us", I will not mind that much but why would he sent this to my whois listed e-mail ID?? I think it's a bit annoying now.
I got an email from Bob in two of my email accounts. I will decline. I would lose a heap of money. Col
I think it is total nonsense to send exactly the same offer to each directory. Not all directories are the same and not all listings are worth the same.
I completely agree, you're going to wind up with a ridiculously spammy list of directories as quality ones aren't going to apply.
WAYYYYYYYYYYY to much. Basically fill up your whole dir with PERM features for 1 or a few links... Don't do it
