Getting Links to a forum

    hello all i have just opened a new forum at called Thatisdigital and was wondering how i can get some backlinks to my forum any help?

    Check out the competition and find out where they are getting their backlinks from. Weed out the good backlinks from the bad and then place you links in the same places. My signature may help.

    I would like to asked if how we can checked competition? Is their any tool for it?

    I have read that forum posting and blog commenting in do follow forums can help as well as social bookmarking site can give backlinks too

    Blog commenting and forum commenting is valuable but is becoming very quickly saturated with spam comments etc.

    There are many ways to check your competition but this can be very time consuming especially if the competition has 1000's of backlinks. Finding the good ones can be difficult.

    but many forums don't allow any competitors signature link.
