Getting links from posts submission

    Hello there,
If I submit my posts to many article directories will it create a duplicate content problem or it is OK to first publish article on the blog and then to submit it to article directories?
This way I'd like to create links to my posts as well.
I also probably need to check whether or not those posts first got indexed and only then to submit them to article directories, isn't it?

Or all this wrong as I will be put to supplemental index because of a duplicate content???
    Thanks,
    Vad

Publishing your unique blog content to article directories might undercut your excellent PR. What I suggest you do is write a series of articles that give readers a taste of the valuable information they will find on your site and link the articles directly to specific blog postings.

It is better if you post article first on your blog then slightly modify it and submit to directories.

Personally I don’t believe in duplicate content – it’s all a scam! This is the age ofcontent sharing! People see a news story and post it to their blog – people like apost on your blog so they post it on some social network or somewhere for other people to see – someone likes your blog so they use your RSS feed on their myyahoo account so that same content can be seen from there… The thought that a site could be punished for showing content from another source that they haven’t produced and isn’t unique is ridiculous.
Besides that, I know many marketers that have been able to get great search
engine results and awesome traffic using "duplicate" content from sites like
Ezine articles.com and Go articles.com etc.
