    Hi Friends,

Google trusts the non-commercial sites for their natural and resourceful contents. So getting links from these site it would be fantastic for a website. Is there any process to approach?

    Waiting for your response.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Jones

There are some .gov and .edu blogs and forums that Google trusts and will provide quality backlinks. You just have to look for them! Find lists, Google them, etc... or if you have enough money you can hire someone to do it for you.

I agree, finding in niche do follow edu and gov links are certainly worth their weight and more in gold. Which leads me question how much does a back link weigh? :)

In some cases .gov and .edu links perform a bit better based on the content itself. However, these links do not inherently have any more strength than a relevant, merit based .com link. That edu links are any better is a myth.

I explain a bit about how I go about things here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1835616

see post #6 and also a few posts down canonical additionally summed things up quite well.

Hope that helps and remember there are no short cuts or silver bullets.
