Getting junk mail in your inbox lately?

    Because I am. Whether it's Hotmail or GMail, looks like spammers have found new ways to gain entry into my inbox.:mad:

    Yeah, over the last few months i've been getting over 100 spam emails in less then a day. I recently noticed that spammers have been sending emails with images imbedded??

    I've seen that tactic for a LONG time. that way filters can't 'pick-up' on keywords: meds, penis, pills, loans, whateverthehell

    Just lately? LOL
    I always got SPAM. Your spam increases when they get your email. I have secondary email addresses I use for places that require me giving it out. I keep my real email just for friends and official business.

    hell yes, my gmail inbox is getting filled with these stupid spam emails and these guys from south africa that want my bank accnt lol.

    The most amazing thing is that you sometimes get spam to email addresses you have never handed out! Even when you control the domain and the servers. That is where things get real interesting. You have no choice but to learn to battle the stuff so that those of you are just users do not get inundated. My primary mail server blocks up to 45,000 per day per user. Now that is meaty!

    I got spam in my Hotmail mailbox more than 6 years ago, and into an unpublished address at that. Seems like my 2 year old Gmail address was safe from spam until recent weeks, good thing everything is caught and sent into the spam folder.

    On my domains things are getting out of hand. My catch-all address receives hundreds of spam messages that are sent into non existent addresses.

    Sad thing is you keep reporting it as spam and it keeps returning... in Hotmail anyway.

    Well, I receive about 50 spams in one day...luckily they all went to the spam folder...inly a few NEW spams managed to get to the inbox...but only 1 or 2...

    Im using Gmail!

    Most of my spam does get caught by the Google Spam Filter. However as of recent I have been getting a lot of emails with the title of "re: your resume" spam isn't fun. Thank god for custom email filters? Spammers should really be burned at the stake. (Email at least)...Wasting my time -_-
