Getting into the google index after a page was previously nofollowed

I put a wordpress blog on my site and as most of you know from fantastico it makes everything nofollow as default now. I made a post before I realised this and then removed the nofollow privacy option.

All my new posts are indexed, but the first one has still not been indexed. Every new post I make is indexed within an hour.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how i can get this original page indexed? I have lots of links to it etc...I think google just has it in it's noindex list.

    thanks.

Having the nofollow tag on your page doesn't stop it from being indexed. It's so that links from the page aren't followed - it's function is to stop your comments section from getting spammed to death.

I believe you are worried about default fantastico installation. Usually auto installation tool enable "Hide my blog from SE's but appear for normal visitors" if that the case and you have reversed this, just wait for 10/15 days Google will index it. Also you can add your blog to google webmaster account and submit a fresh sitemap, I hope this will do the job.

Let me rephrase what I said. Yes I am concerned about the default fantastico installation where posts are nofollowed and noindexed. I removed the default option and the post that I submitted before has never been indexed. Only the pages after I removed the noindex. It has been more than 2 months.
