Getting Into Proxy Business...

I've made my good share of nice proxy templates and have sold them on various forums... but now I'm thinking of taking it up a notch.

I want to buy a really great domain, use my own great looking template and a proxy script, and then sell the site to someone in about a week.

    Is this reasonable?

(Note, I have never bought or sold a full site / domain, but I have a general idea of how / what goes on). So I guess you can call me a noobie :D

How do I make the site more appealing to be sold? (note I'm selling it within a relatively short period of time)

If I were to keep the proxy a little longer... how would I build it up? Get traffic?

Whats the BEST proxy script to use?

Have you experienced success selling proxies? if so, what were your strategies?

    Thanks alot.

Depends on how much you are selling it for. There are so many proxy scripts out there that you wouldnt be able to make the price too high.

I don't think you would get that much for it either way

the amount of traffic you have coming to site will also have a big impact on how much you can expect for the site

Promote via paid advertisement to proxy group, do some link exchange, submit to proxy topsites

Hi there mate the most important factor of selling a website is how much you are making/earning with the site before you sell it. Annoyingly as it is, but most people do not care about anything else other than how much money you have earned with the site. So my answer would be keep it as long as you are increasing the amount of money you make with the site, until then keep it then sell it.

With so much competition in the proxy market, a great looking site isnt necessacerily worth the most.Sadly some of the most successful sites are horribly loaded with ads and are really slow.
Traffic and revenue are vital to the value of a site, so if you want to make money creating and selling you need to build some traffic first.
