I have a question regarding some of the posts I have read on RSS feeds and Yahoo.

I have read that by submiting an RSS feed to "myyahoo" account will get your sites pages indexed.

Here is my question: Do I have to make a blog first and talk about my site in the blog and then create an RSS feed of the blog to submit? Or can I simply create an RSS feed of my site and submit that ??

I sell products on my site, and there are no articles. Can I simply do the following for "ITEMS" in the RSS file:

Product Title

Product Description.

Can I just do that for all the products and create a RSS feed and submit it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks alot

    Yes you could do that.

But you will do much better with a feed that is updated often.

So you could update the products manually in your feed. Or automatically if you have a way to do that.
