Getting included in Google Directory

One way to get included in Google Directory http://directory.google.com/ is to be included in http://dmoz.org

No. It's the only way, not just 'one way'.

 

Dmoz is the only way to get listed in Google Directory.

 

will us get higher PR if we are indexed in dmoz ?

 

Probably, yes. Especially since DMOZ is syndicated so getting in could mean hundreds of links eventually.

 

So basically buy Google or pay off a DMOZ editor.

 

Getting listed in DMOZ is like pulling teeth. I fear I may never get in.

 

I think google directory is the best out there. To bad they are using a source that is not that great to list site. Just think how money google could make if they opened up there directory for anyone to be included (with some sort of fee of course). I think they should branch out on their own they would be better off, plus I am sure they would dominate the directory market.

 

What about being an editor? I have heard about it.
