Getting hold of the email spammers

For the past few weeks my mailbox is constantly being bombarded by some ass**les costing me valuable bandwith, not to mention the annoyance. I also suspect that it was one of such spammers which inserted malicious code in my database which resulted in a corrupt database and i had to postpone my article submission work for my clients . I have tracked down the IPs of these spammers to some dns servers and want to sue the persons responsible for this. What is the best possible approach in such cases? What is the appropriate authority to report such cases to? Please advice.

Icaan generally cannot do anything but they do have allot of information on registraturs (not sure of the speeling on that)

They can give you general advise that will probbably point you in the right direction.

Is the host in the USA?
