The key to this is buying expired domains with Authority and links, then recreating them as 100% relevant to your niche...with the home page pointing to your money site. The KEY now is page rank + relevance!!! If you are in this for the long run, buy domains that have recently expired from JustDropped.com and get them hosted. Change all of the SEO settings and make the new domain ALL ABOUT YOUR EXACT NICHE. Throw some quick backlinks at the new site so it gets found. The guys killing it with SEO now are building their own networks on different class c ips and are making the networks 100% relevant to their niche.
You can comment on blogs, but thats not high pr link. High pr link is one home page. How do people get it? They buy it, nowadays noone links to quality content just because its quality content. They know the price of it and prefer to sell the links. In my career I have received only 5-6 quality links for free, because they were from sites that linked to my forum. Forums tend to be linked to more.
I know it's hard to find high pr links in our niches but we can find some good links using scrapebox software
Guest posting is a great method. I've done it a few times and it always yields positive results. It's basically like any other business deal. You get in touch with the owner of a high-rep site and ask if you can guest post on their blog. They'll want to know what the post is about, and have a sample provided to them so that they can get a feel for the quality of it. If they agree, then you complete the article and send it over, and they post it on their blog with an author attribution paragraph and a link to your site. One thing to bear in mind is that they will usually want the article to be unique, meaning that it's written just for their site and doesn't appear on yours. That's totally normal.
I agree! I've been using this for a while and although I still have a way to go. it's working. I shot a site from page 7 to top of page 3 just by aiming a PR3 link at it. It's a cool, simple system.
I agree with this. You can easily make it worth your time and money to create your own PBN (Private Blog Network). Danielle, if you need help getting some expired domains with good metrics and a clean backlink profile, let me know.

Hi everyone, I have written a post how to find high PR comment pages here https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/a-free-pr4-back-link-and-simple-method-to-find-relevant-high-pr-4-comment-pages.2681080/ and the best part is that you can find niche relevant comments which has PR
Using only one factor of link building won't be much effective so you have to use several factors for building links.
One of the best ideas now is the guestposting. You'll write an article for someone's blog and place a link in it.
Since Google pagerank has not been updated since February, be careful when using it, you may be missing other pages which can help your site. Checkout Moz or Majestic for other metrics on the sites. If you use Scrapebox to find sites for commenting or for guest posting, don't eliminate sites that are undefined or low PR. Check their metrics as well, as they may pass good juice now and in the future. Also, consider owning your own backlinks by purchasing expired domains and building your own Private Plog Network or leasing PBN sites. It may save you a lot of time and push your rankings up sooner.
And, how long does the original page rank stay for this 'expired domain' once you put your own content on the site? I'm assuming the original page rank was related to the content/backlinks the original site had. Without that content, would the page rank slip?
