Getting Good traffic from MSN?

I bet you will see more people if you target Jessica Simpson or Paris Hilton.

 

I'me getting some decent traffic from MSN to my image rating site
ratemodels.net - about 20% of the traffic
I do agree that MSN traffic is not very good for Business-oriented traffic
DO you think most people use the Search the web form in Hotmail ? or the
XP IE6 MSN toolbar ?

 

I just got up from below hundred to second on my main keywords. Haven't noticed any increase in traffic though yet. I'm pretty far away from a Paris Hilton web site, unfortunately. Well, fortunately come to think of it...

 

Ive got tons of pages listed in msn but never really get much traffic from them. Mostly all from google and yahoo

 

Thats not unusual for well established old sites. MSN seems to love the new ones unfortunately

 

Thats just not true the site I am working on has been running for nearly 8 years but it does well in MSN, it gets 10% of its visitors from MSN. Infact it does much better in MSN than it does in Yahoo at the moment.

And yes we do rank top in MSN but then we are second in Google too. The average results over all keywords are near enough the same in MSN, Google, AOL, Alexa and Ask. The only one we dont do so well in is Yahoo but that is on the rise now too third for one of the main keywords now.

 

MSN gives me about 20% of my traffic as my site ranks high there for all of my keywords, much higher than on google or yahoo. Of course, once it climbs to the top on google it will likely be giving my only a tiny portion.

 

I don't get high traffic from msn. Google brings high traffic.

 

but i guess its easier and takes lesser time to get indexed in msn and also comparitively easier to get first page ranking
