Getting Gg to re-include a site after manual removal.

Discussion in 'Search Engine Optimization' started by newstd100, Nov 3, 2009.

A few months ago I requested, through Gg Webmaster Tools, that an old website of mine was de-indexed and removed from the Gg SERPs.

I now want to re-include some pages from this site, and so I used the "submit site" tool but after a week I can't see the site/page(s) appearing in the SERPs.

Any views on whether I've missed anything, or is it just a case of time, etc.

    Help appreciated. Cheers.

Cancel the removal request in Google WMT, re include entire site/pages. If you restricted bots to crawl in robots, then allow bots in robots.txt.

and also resubmit your sitemap. Do, SBM.

few of pages will be shown in Google in a day or 2. But to index all the pages it takes little time, around 1 week.

    all the best :)

I'm not sure I can cancel the removal request - it was instigated more than 90 days ago, etc.
    What is SBM?
And, any thoughts on whether the site will retain its original PR ranking?
    Cheers.

you can cancel the removal request at any time.

    sbm - social book marking

if your site having the same quality backlinks as like in the previous, then surely you will get the same PR. No doubt.

    All the best :)

Also, resubmit your xml sitemap in Google webmaster tools.

Check once again of your robots.txt file.

    Don't block bots.

    It will work.
