    Then would that explain why I just recently got listed in the ODP, and msn beta shows 3000 backlinks, but G only has 5 listing?

    Yes because your link will probably be on a page that has some PR, and also a lot of directories use DMOZ's data, so if some of those happen to use your category, there is a chance that the pages you are put on in those directories might have PR too.
