Getting frequent hit on submit.php

    Hi,

    I was just looking at my traffic logs and found that there is frequent hits on submit.php file. Its like following:

    There are other similar hits at frequent intervals, but the IP is different..

    I am just worried and wondering what could be this. Any clue?

    I would guess it might be auto submitters or similar tools.

    They just submit to your site to get email confirmations of link submitted !

    so that they can show it to site owners who have paid for their directory submission services

    Ok why the hell do i get this popup https: accept ssl certificate in this thread ?

    Neogen have you posted a link or image that requires authentication ? If so please remove it , its annoying.
