Getting free .com .net domain names is it true?

    Have you heard about a particular deal?...or are you just asking for ideas of how you could?...because domains are really not that expensive with Godaddy etc. Plus you can often get a free domain when you sign up for a hosting plan...but obviously you are paying for the hosting:)

    Technically, you can't get them free anywhere. HOWEVER, there are many domain name giveaways and freebie contests where people would be willing to give you one for free. ;)
