Getting found in google in 24-48 hours

    Hi,
I tried to register a friends website to get found on google and figured it
would only take 24-48 hours. So far its been 48 hours and nothing.

    http://www.benwerrinlodge.com.au/

I have mentioned it on the review section of DP plus bookmarked several
    pages in Delicious and Stumbleupon.

I figured that would pretty much do it as those sites get spidered so
    frequently.

    Any other suggestions?

How about submitted related article to article sites? That's pretty helpful too. Also, ask someone who have an active sites to link back to the new site. That would done the job. :)

Lawless87: Fair call. I don't own the site but great idea. Thanks. I have done
that with all my websites but was getting stuck with this one taking longer than 48
hours using all that I already knew plus assistance from DP forums.

use a pinging service like http://www.pingoat.com to ping sites everytime you update it. That seems to help get me indexed fast, also join google webmaster tools and submit a sitemap.

Hire an SEO Expert to do backlinking for you, it's costly but worth every cent!

    - Another way is SE Submission through Free Webmaster tools (try looking in the SE ).
    - ask your friend who have a high pr website to review your web.
    - build backlinks.
    - Hire an SEO Expert or Paid Review service if you have a lot of budget

Try combining two of the above suggestions:

    1) digg your page

    2) ping the digg page that was just created when you dugg your site.

Making sure this is clear- you're not pinging your site, you're pinging the digg page that links to your site.

I've heard that this is a very effective method to get your site indexed quickly.

    Thats really great advice.
Also the RSS submission is great option for that. The we can submit it into various other rss sites.

this is what i do when i publish a new post.

    Add it to digg.
create technorati tags and ping it ( so much forgotten)
article gets pinged to over 50+ pinging services
social bookmark to around 5/6 bookmarking sites

this is my mix of seo techniques to get your site indexed within 24/48 hours

Seeing that it is still not coming up on Google, but the digg page and this thread is - the only thing to do now is to have patience and try to submit a google sitemap!

Usually doing the above 3 works very well! Also try submitting via add url function, if not already done so!

Can't think of anything else, at this time?

If its only been alive 3 days, chill out and start writing some good quality content for it and start building backlinks.

Dont focus on getting it indexed in the space of 48 hours, focus on the mentioned 2 points, and it will get picked up.

In addition to Digg, Stumbleupon, delicious.

Try adding the 'Sharethis' button onto your site and submit to sites provided to you on the widget.

Give Mixx, Propeller, Multiply and GoArticles a Try. Don't forget to Pownce or Tweet!

I have also been trying to get the same site indexed. I have it listed in my Google Webmaster Tools account and have submitted a sitemap. I can see that Google has crawled the site, but as of Jan 8 it has still not indexed.

Webmaster tools returned no errors on crawling and every page passes full W3C HTML Validation.

Basically, I think it is just going to take some time. Not sure why Google is being slow at the moment. Certainly all their advice is that indexing can take weeks.

You have all been very helpful. All ideas have been tried but its a stubborn site or Google is yet to
    come back from the Holidays!

I wish I had more control over the site itself as all other sites I have tried this for have been found by
Google in very quick fashion. Will keep waiting and keep you posted.
