Okay, I am (or should I say was) an extremely fit personal trainer who was always in great shape. Since I've transitioned into the webmaster world I've gotten fat (for my standards) and I'm wondering if anyone else has stories about their physical body changes which occurred since they have been a webmaster? By the way I'm typing this with a sore ass, numb left hand little finger and arthritic right index finger So i guess everyone works on their site and runs marathons every dya
Ask the trainer Since i have gone webmastering full time - First i put on heaps of wait bcos of more hours of inactivity and poor diet habits. It got bad until i got sick of looking at the person i was becoming......... Changed my life balance and joined a gym and now am fitter and best shape of my life while still being online full time. Basically im no weight guru but your excecise intensity has to be higher to burn the fat, you need to do it for longer periods and more often to make up for the poor lifestyle and have better diet........ Full time webmasters need to sacrifice alot in many areas of their life really to try to live their dream
I feel wasting lot of time, things could be done much faster, but forget things fast due to volume of information - very messy I do not like that habbit to stay long on internet while promoting or doing other things for website.
Hey AskTheTrainer! You are from/in BKK I see. I used to teach English there. I work out every other day. It's necessary to keep me motivated and build up some oxygen to the brain otherwise I would be unfit and very unmotivated.
I tend to start to lag about 2 o'clock in the afternoon, so I take an hour to go for a walk outside and do a short 30 min workout. Combined with eating more fruits, I have maintained my weight.
