Getting clicks from... somewhere?

This morning I received two clicks, but they are not from any of my channels.

I have 3 blogs and 2 websites. I use the Allowed Sites function. Those are the only blogs & websites that are allowed, but the clicks aren't registering on any of them. When I go to the Allowed Sites, near the top it says this:

"There are unauthorized sites that have displayed ads using your AdSense publisher ID within the last week. Please click here to view them."

At the bottom, instead of a url it has an ip:

    209.85.215.104

Anyone had this problem? Or should I just take the $.86 the clicks gave me.

I vote report it. Google won't take the money away from you if they're legitimate. However if they're fraud (not your fault) they may take your account away.

Good luck! and let us know what turns out. I'm really curious

Thats very strange, because when you go to http://209.85.215.104 , it turns out to be Google...

    Thats confusing...

I think it might just be a mistake or something, just take the money I think. If it keeps on happening, contact Adsense.

So, google is using your ads. You will soon get rich if your ads are on google.

It's still weird because the warning is just telling me that someone has posted my code, right? The clicks shouldn't give me any earnings.

Google still haven't fixed that issue yet... I know I mentioned it as soon as I had the first unauthorized showing of my ads.

Basically Google should have automatically set all their IP ranges in the default allowed sites list - it would have prevented this from being an issue. It is possible that people have viewed the cache of your page that Google have indexed = shows as unauthorized but it is actually a cached page on Google owned IP ranges.

The majority of unauthorized pageviews for my sites came from google owned property as well as yahoo cache pages etc.
