Is this possible? I have gotten a couple of clicks for a page that I know has not got any impressions today but had quite a few yesterday. Today, I see that I have gotten a couple of clicks on that channel.

The same happened to me today! Odd. Yesterday was a real low Adsense day for me, but i had a visitor flow at the end of the day and after three hours in the morning(today) i had made what i usually make when Adsense ran 9 hours already. I also wondered if this is possible?

It might be possible. Perhaps there is a difference in your timezone to that of Adsense's timezone. Also the timezone Adsense use might not be the same as that of your site stat software.

I know normally an "Adsense day" is from 9am-9am for my location.

I think adsense does delay in updating clicks sometimes.

Everytime I have a 'bad' day with a CTR if 0.5% it is always followed by a day with a CTR of 8-12% when my average is closer to 3%.

I have also observed this phenomenon. Today, in fact.
Some days, I notice a file CTR which is "out of place"(low), so to speak.
"Where are the clicks", I shout, knashing my teeth.

And then, the next day, SAS, there they are. Early. And then the CTR for that day seems a bit "out of place"(high).

I think we need to look at a 3-day rolling average, or something like that. Sometimes, the Adsense algo seems to have doubt regarding certain clicks, so it takes 4-12 hours? to think about them (perform further analysis), before it credits your account.

Of course, YPN withholds clicks for a minimum of 4 hours - ALL of them.

I think google could make some money by charging $10/month for real time adsense reporting.

I'd have a siren ring everytime someone clicks!

I think this is often why we see people saying 'I just had a click for x.xx when usually it is 5c. The first half hour of the new day (also 9am here) often has a first click or two of an 'unnaturally' high amount - I believe it is a correction of the previous day, and could actually represent several clicks, with the clicks possibly reported in a different day stats. Possibly clicks that were under investigation?

And yes I see the same, if one day seems improbably low, the next day is often improbably high.

Yes, no doubt about it, I have seen this twice now. The first time I thought I imagined it, but the second time it definitely happened. I looked at my stats for "yesterday" and they showed $x, but later in the day stats for "yesterday" showed $y. It seems like the last couple of hours of clicks are not added to your stats until a few hours into the next day, but the "page impressions" figure DOES get updated, so for a while it looks like your CTR dropped. (only happens some days though)

It is definitely why we are seeing so many posts here like "ARGGH my income dropped". I've posted to one myself! But when I looked back on my stats a day or so later, I noticed that my income hadn't really dropped as much as I thought.
