Is it possible that getting a link from business.com free? it just happened with me. One of my site got a free link in business.com. I never submitted or paid to them. It looks to be a web listing link directly pointing to my site.:)

To be listed in DMOZ you have to get ok with an editor and maybe send him some bucks. DMOZ = Corruption

This is no true at all, I have a client who is not in touch with any DMOZ editor and got her site listed in matter of weeks.

Furthermore, whoever accepted her site, followed her inner links and indexed another two that she never submitted but because of their quality, I guess.

About business.com, the easier way to get a link is developing a website with enough business resources that make them include you with no submission as happened to me with a site that Answers.com decided to link as useful resource.

Did those sites only have 3 pictures and 5 texts ? :)

I sent a website of one of my clients (an articles resource) for around 7 months ago and nothing. So... let's not speak about DMOZ. Money talk. Better for DMOZ to do it legally like Yahoo Directory does.

They said more likely which is true. Especially for not submitting in the first place.

I'm really curious of what / which website is listed for free.

Except link building campaigns, a good quality website is the best way to drive in natural links and natural popularity, so natural success.

Good content, and natural links, excepting the "magic" link from DMOZ :)
