Or even 12 or 24 hours... It depends in a lot of factors... If it his a high PR page, more chances of Gbot to pass by, but again remember, the crawl of the rest of your website will be slow if you don't have a good amount of links...

MAKE SURE you do not submit to google add url...

All you need to do is point links to it. Googlebot will follow it and find your page. If you submit, you are more likely to wait months....

Well IMO, it is quicker to get indexed by not submitting than submitting.

I can get sites indexed on google in 5 days with only 2 pr3 backlinks. Its all you need.

I dunno the exact answer for this .. but from my experience ... submitting a site will not make google index your site faster .. just pointing some links is good enough .. just my opinion ..

yeh i would agree with that.....

The first ever site I made I submitted, and that was the biggest mistake I made.. I soon found that out.. After 3 months of waiting...

Ever since, simple (relevant) links pointing to the new site is all ive needed to get the site indexed within 5 days

Just wanted to ad something, I noticed that with a brand new site I had it completely crawled by G in about a week. Must have been timing, but to help G find each page, I had an adsense ad on it. So, guessing while testing pages each page was indexed.

Has anyone else seen their site crawled/indexed faster with G's Ads on it?

I did it in the same day with no links. In the TOS it says adsense ads will not help that happen.

I have no clue why I was so lucky. But the proof is posted above and indexed in google.

URL Registered the 19th and google indexed the 19th.

what matters is not how soon you get it indexed but how fast it's going to rank.

You need a break from Google, DMOZ and the Net. It's getting to you.

Where did I say I had no rankings?

Are we on the same planet? I'm quite happy with my traffic, I don't need to see my position ATM. I know by my logs the traffic is good for my investments.

    What are we talking about?

My web directory was indexed in 4 days. I put a forum signature here and submitted to Jayde and Abilogic directories. :)
