Getting Banned

I was reading an article about adsense when i came across 'One person was banned who clicked twice from the same domain within a 24-hour period'
This can't be true, can it?
Does anybody have any info on how sensitive adsense can be about these things? Say one of your competitors clicks your ads 10 times a day for a week - do you stand a change of getting un-banned?
Anybody with any experience care to enlighten me?

If some klik the same ad with high rate in the same time, google will detect as ilegal click and you will be banned. Fo example you right click you ad and click open in new windows, and you do that with high rate.

Of course it could be true! The golden rule of Adsense is DON'T CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS. Simple as that. No lame reasoning along the lines of ... "I was genuinely interested ... honest". Just don't click on your own ads.
    See above advice.
    Google say this cannot happen.
Usually you don't have any chance of having your account reinstated but there are exceptions where honest webmasters who have fully complied with Adsense terms have been somehow excluded. If you broke the TOS, forget it.

Well, I don't click my own ads, and it makes me feel better knowing google shouldn't ban you if somebody out to get you clicks your ads
    Thanks for responding :)
