hello, i want to create a legal download site. just like download.com its important to get backlinks. there are a lot of warez download sites with pr4/5+ , if i get my link on there site, willl adsense ban me? like traffic from a warez site?
I don't know why they would ban you...but, don't expect those links to carry any weight in g' algorithm.
Those type of backlinks will not help you, not only will they not be directly related to your site, they will most likely not give any SEO value. Most warez sites also contain spyware\adware and are backlisted in Google or not indexed at all. For that type of site, your main backlinks would be from the software company\developer that is using your service to host their files. Just require anyone hosting files to provide a backlink to your site for the bandwidth usage on their program\software's downloads.
well once i had a domain and i have posted appz links, yes there were also illegal links, but i never posted text as warez/xxx/cracks etc, i never got banned, but when i got hits from ddl sites, like 10k a day, i got banned
so how do i know a site is good for backlink? i can check with pagerank checker for the pr, what else? if my site is a appz download site, i need to get links from appz download sites for a high pr right?
You will get little to no SEO value from warez site backlinks, your time could be spent better building quality backlinks from related sites.
Backlinks from warez sites work fine same as any other just make sure there related. Check there pagerank and indexed urls and your good to go Google doesnt make a difference people here may believe that but a warez site can be a very good backlink for your type of site and not all warez sites are the same not all are illegal they are known for popups /spyware but thats the bad part of warez sites.
