Getting back links to a forum?

I have a forum (in sig) and wondered the best way to get back links to this type of forum. I have a few ideas and I'm getting a fairly good response rate, but always looking for new ways to get links and members

 

You should focus on long tail deep backlinks - those are natural for forums.

Making posts on a number of different forums can have a very beneficial effect as interacting with people who have jobs similar to yours and share the same interests. These are all good and perfectly legal guidelines.

 

I think he means long tail keywords so "how to start a business in the UK" rather than "business UK" and by deep he means linking to inner pages.

hi, I agree with unknownpray thru forums we get backlinks same time postings thru different forums we interact with different catogory people in different parts of world and I think This is the easy way to interact with suitable job players...

 

yeah, you can get valuable back link and exposure by placing links on forum signature. Do select quality forum for this.
