Hello all, this is my first post here,
anyway I used to mess around with webdesign about 5-6 years ago but got out of it, now im so stressed with my job i started researching about online cash sources. I was already familiar with adsense but never used it but now im ready to give it a shot. I already wrote an ebook and its selling decent on ebay but would now like to build up several sites and use adsense ads on them. The problem is im using nvu as i cant find my dreamweaver files.
    Is nvu a decent program???

Im very good with photoshop and webpage layout, graphics ect. and am sure i can integrate the adlinks nicely with my site but my main questin is....

Would it be ok to buy one domain and have various different topic pages, like kind of making several sites into one? Or would it be better to purchase extra domain names and stick to the subject of each site??

Also is there any tips thread on using headers and metatags for best results or does google just go off of your text content? Im no webmaster and several years ago I was just getting about mid level knowledge and now i feel like im learning it all over again.....
Any help is greatly appreciated-thanks in advance

There's no problem with doing both (think: about.com they have topics about everything!). If you want to cut down costs on domain registrations, you can place all of your topics in 1 domain, just think of a very generic domain name so it suits all of your niches.

So you want to search optimize your website? You can add metatags (I've heard its not 100% necessary, quality content rules over it) but google just takes text off your content as well. Adding a metatag is just like adding a short abstract about your site that SE can display to searchers.
