Has anyone applied and was approved/rejected with a content site (rather than a products site)? Once you apply for chitica acct, how long do you usually have to wait to hear from them?
All of my websites are content sites. It took them one week to approve one of them, and 2.5 weeks to approve the other one. I saw that they were hiring staff, so I guess they can't handle all of the submissions lately
I applied for my blog, a content site and was rejeted. Took them 5 days to reply. This was what they sent me: ----------------- Thank you for your online submission. We reviewed your website: Funnyism and your application for eMiniMalls Paid Listings service cannot be accepted at this time. Here is a list of possible reasons: - Incomplete application. For example: missing website, monthly impressions, unconfirmed email, etc. - Unable to confirm that you are the owner of the website. (We recommend that either the email address or the whois info match the domain) - Website may not be suitable for merchandising. - Non-English content. - Adult language or content. Thank you for your interest in eMiniMalls. ---------- I think it's because the site is not product oriented.
I apply by using a blog related to entertainment theme, and was rejected. I believe gadget site will be easier to get approved.
It actually works quite well. I can target advertisements towards my demographic. Magazines, makeup, skincare, etc.
hey solution2u: Why does your sig say "Turning Page Views Into Revenue"? Doesn't Chitika pay for clicks and referras only (not page views)?
What I meant is the more page views you have, you will likely to earn more revenue. This is like "turning traffic into revenue". Do you notice that Chitika also put "Turning page views into profits" as their eMiniMalls slogan?
