Getting approved after getting declined

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by AdrianMoss, Feb 5, 2012.

My AdSense application was declined due to insufficient content.

I want to add a blog to my site (blog.url.com) regardless but from what I've read I believe this may help me to get my application approved.

My concern is that when you fill out the application for AdSense it just asks for your primary URL.

I'm wondering if I should put in my blog address here (blog.url.com) or if I should just put in my index page (url.com).

    Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

In my opinion, you may just add your primary URL like url.com

I'm not looking to put up a crap blog. My site was rejected for lack of content... the site consists of lots of images and videos... the blog would help me from an SEO perspective as well.

You need to focus on content for a number of reasons.

    1. To get approved by Adsense your blog needs to be deemed a site worth visiting and without good content you are screwed.

    2. To get relevant ads on your blog (assuming you get approved) you need good relevant content - Google look at your content to determine what ads to put up.

    3. To get traffic to your site, you need good content so you rank well for the keywords you are targeting.

Bottom line: Get some good content.

Getting sites approved for AdSense is simple and easy as long as you have these:-
    1. 30-40 original articles
    2. Blog should have proper domain name. eg www.yourblogdomain.com and not www.yourblogdomain.blogspot.com
    3. Your blog should be at least 6 months old.

You meet these three conditions of AdSense, you are almost assured AdSense account.

I am not agree with 6 months point.

i got account with my newly domain effectively.

primary URL is better for getting approval.

Yea..the 6 month period is a default condition set by AdSense. But sometimes they are flexible if you have a primary domain. That 6 months is basically for those who are using blogspot.com blogging platform.

I'd like to keep my blog as a subdomain because my hope is that it'll drive more traffic to the 'main' site. Do you know if I can fill out the adsense application with the subdomain address or does it need to be the primary url?
