Getting an offline antiviurs.

    guys,

    a friend of mine doesn't have a internet connection and whenever i get him a antivirus the problem is we need to connect to internet once a day/week to update it.

    is there a solution for this thing... i mean where we can get an antivirus which woundn't require regular updates; i understand this might be risky... but is there a solution available.

    You can buy a package and get it updated from another PC having Internet from time to time, copy the downloads and install the latest definitions in your friends computer.

    nice idea and i even thought of it... but the problem is that we don't want to involve this weekly process.

    is there a stable regular solution.
