Getting Alexa Ranking?

    Is it even possible? No one I know has Alexa Ranking. If its possible which I know it is, how to get it?

    Get lots of traffic to your website.

    Or just install the Alexa toolbar and visit your site yourself a few times per day.

    Well, it's nearly impossible to be on top 10, but no so difficult to have a rank below 100K.
    My best Alexa Ranking was 15K a month ago, when receiving 30,000+ unique visitors per day.
    IMO Alexa widgets can help a little your ranking.

    Alexa rank is not that important. Rather concentrate optimizing your site for other search engines. Alexa will follow as your daily visitors increase.

    This is how I hear most people achieve a higher ranking. So in other words it is a stupid way to judge a website.

    It just comes down to getting traffic to your website, and the alexa rank will follow.
