Okay, so I've made a product at
    http://www.sleep-wave.com
    Code (markup):
several days worth of work and $30 hosting + domain
and I've purchased a sellers account at clickbank, which was $50. It's been about a week and I've been threatening to market my product myself, but I don't think my product will sell. Not many people are looking at it. I need some advice. I've added my website to A LOT of search engines. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Constructive criticism is wanted!

That's a total of $80 I've invested and I'm afraid to invest anymore, because so far I haven't gotten anywhere. I am now also looking at getting a refund from my host and clickbank, but I've put too much work into my website to throw it all away...

    Thanks,
    Satanicat

Maybe you could offer discounts or something to the first 5 to purchase your product, or give them something else as a bonus?

in some cases there is never anything good to say when it comes to making money. it could take years, or you may never make anything, but having a short term website with a total investment of $80.00, what did you expect? millions to signup overnight? at one time I was into affilaite marketing myself for years, and lost $1000's in google advertising over the years. Why do you think google is a billion $$ company, and advertisers are not? and it does not matter if its affiliate marketing or you are just trying to sell something. it can take a very long time to see anything, if you ever do at that...I know we all want to put up a site and see fast money, its just not realistic...

so by just looking at your domain name, it looks at it would not interest me one bit, so thats why
I did not bother going there.

Do you guys think I should close down get my money back from clickbank and my hosting company. Then try a safer way of making money via internet (proxy site, blog, forum etc)? Because I'm not so sure I want to start investing all of this money into something I'm pretty new to.

Pay is what attracts affiliates. You will notice that the products that get the most attention in ClickBank are those that are priced higher and pay higher commissions.

Your price of $19 means that an affiliate would make maybe $10 on a sale. Most will pass on that.

The Swing Trading site in my sig (ClickBank) sells a course for $97 and I pay 55% commissions.

    Good luck.
