Getting accurate traffic results with Awstats

    I have a top site that folks put my button on their own sites to count traffic. Awstats counts the use of the button as a visitor. Is there a way to adjust that so they are not counted?

    Hi,

    I would edit the SkipFiles directive in AWStats config file:

    SkipFiles="/address_of_the_button"

    I have a topsite too. How many extra hits are we looking at from these button clicks? Should I be dividing my current traffic stats by 2 or something...?
