So, how does Yahoo accept people? Do they just randomly pick them or is it actually based on stats or something?

I don't think they do it randomly. That's for sure.

Well, on their page for applying, they offer a list of types of sites they will not accept into the network. I am pretty sure they review each applicant for quality and traffic over time. It could take a while, I understand there is a long line.

Its my experience too. I have applied fo YPN a while ago and havent heard back from them.
I am starting now and I dont think I will get accepted by Value Click Media and Tribal Fusion as they need 2000~ 3000 uniques hits/month,.
If any of you know a better option other than Adsense, Please suggest.

    Thanks
    Hans

My guess... and that is all it is, a guess... is that you will have a hard time finding a network that accepts you if you are getting less than 2000 u/v per month (less than 100 a day). I might be wrong though, just in my experience, it doesnt usually happen.

If you have content that has something to do with Yahoo's advertisers, and your website isn't full of keyword spamming and crap like that, then they will most likely accept your site.
