Getting a publication known?

I have a publication that is put together monthly at my writing site. It mostly covers the topics relating to writing.

    You could view it at

    http://www.writersbeat.com/view_publication_writers_club.htm

My question is, where can I distribute this ezine for more attention? How can I get it to become more popular, and not only gaining popularity on itself, but for the parent domain, Writer's Beat in general?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

The first thing that strikes me when visiting your website is that there is noting clearly inviting anyone to sign up for your mailing list to receive notification that a new e-zine has been published.

You waste a heap of space on every page with that blurb telling everyone the advantages of joining your site - yet don't try and get them to sign up for a mailing list - Wasted opportunity! Additionally, it pushes any real content down the page so nothing worthwhile is visible above the fold. You have already lost more than 50% of the site visitors who could not quickly identify what your site is about.

I am sure there are a lot of other things to do, but this is the most obvious thing to me.

Okay, that's not the main section of the site. It's just a link from the main section. I'm not concerned with my site, I'm concerned with how to make the publication more "known."

What RRWH said is correct, that's a practical advice you should
implement today. Your problem is you do not understand what he
said, and think that's not connected.

Well, it's connected. After you fixed that you want to include your
ezine into newsletter and ezine directories for a start.

The ezine is in a newsletter. It's sent to every member of the site. It is in directories aswell.

It's not really an article though, it's many articles inside of a publication.
